Regulative Principle of Worship – Our worship is simple and each aspect is rooted in scriptural commands. We engage in the reading of Scripture, congregational singing, prayer, and expositional preaching of God’s Word.

High View of God – We recognize God’s kingship. We demonstrate this recognition through our worship, our ministries, and our lives.

Scripture

I. Manuscript Tradition
We affirm the Hebrew Masoretic Text and the Byzantine Text (which underlies the Greek Textus Receptus).

II. Translation Philosophy
We model and endorse the use of a formal equivalency such as the Modern English Version (MEV) or the King James Version (KJV).

III. Cadence
We acknowledge that Scripture is to be understood. The biblical writers utilized rhythm that was recognizable to their hearers and aided retention.

Leadership – Our congregational life is led by a plurality of elders. The elders are tasked with two responsibilities. They must give themselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4). The Preaching Elder is first among equals and he charts the course for the direction of the congregation and sets the tone Gospel effectiveness through our daily interactions.
