Preaching Elder Stephen Mullins acknowledged Jesus as Lord and Savior at the age of nine through the Vacation Bible School ministry of Clintwood Baptist Church in Clintwood, VA. He has been married to Danielle since July 2006. They have two children Joshua (b. 2008) and Hannah (b. 2018). Stephen is a graduate of Campbellsville University with a Bachelor in Pastoral Ministry and a Master of Theology. He has over a decade of pastoral experience in Ripley County with a passion for seeing lives changed by the power of the Gospel. His vision is to do all for the glory of God.

Discipleship Elder Eric Hampton was saved by the grace of God in his early twenties and was ordained in 2022. Eric attended Lincoln College of Technology after high school and graduated with an associate degree in Diesel technology and business management. He attended Cross Point church in West Harrison, Indiana from the ages of 15-30. Eric and Nadia, his wife, taught Children’s Sunday School there as well. He has been married to Nadia since 2014. They have three children, Henry (b. 2018), Oliver ( b. 2020) and Miriam (b. 2022). God’s creation is something Eric enjoys studying and is fascinated by. His desire is to reach the lost with the saving power of the Gospel. His hope is that members of Sovereign Grace Assembly will be equipped to defend the faith, be able to give a reason for the hope within them, and grow in their love for Christ which will increase their love for the lost and drive them to spread the good news of the Gospel.

Administrative Elder John Willis acknowledged Jesus as Lord and Savior at the age of twelve during a sermon at First Baptist Church in Cadillac, Michigan.  Following a career in the U.S. Coast Guard he returned to Northern Michigan where he became a Deacon in Boon Baptist Church, before helping to plant and serving as an Elder at Seeds of Faith Community Fellowship in Manton, Michigan. Ordained in 2022, John has been married to Charlotte since 1986. He has two step-children, Jennifer and David, three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. John graduated from Northwood University in 1990.
